Regular Income Certificate Profit Rate (October 2026)
From 21 October 2026, Regular Income Certificates pay 12.12% a year, up from 11.76%. That is Rs 1,010 a month on every Rs 100,000 before tax.
Monthly Profit Table (After Tax)
Withholding tax is deducted at 15% for filers and 30% for non-filers. Here is what you actually receive each month:
| Investment | Gross monthly profit | Filer (after 15% tax) | Non-filer (after 30% tax) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rs 100,000 | Rs 1,010 | Rs 858 | Rs 707 |
| Rs 500,000 | Rs 5,050 | Rs 4,292 | Rs 3,535 |
| Rs 1,000,000 | Rs 10,100 | Rs 8,585 | Rs 7,070 |
| Rs 2,500,000 | Rs 25,250 | Rs 21,462 | Rs 17,675 |
| Rs 5,000,000 | Rs 50,500 | Rs 42,925 | Rs 35,350 |
| Rs 10,000,000 (1 crore) | Rs 101,000 | Rs 85,850 | Rs 70,700 |
That difference is why becoming a filer matters. Our guide on how to become a filer in Pakistan explains the steps.
